Airy, elegant FRANCINE, which sits in the luxury wing of Scottsdale Fashion Square, exudes the rustic charms of le midi (the south of France), homeland to celebrity chef-owner Laurent Halasz (Fig & Olive).  French-trained executive chef Brian Archibald eloquently re-creates specialties of the region, including salad Niçoise, oil-poached tuna, panisse and bouillabaisse. Phoenix Magazine named FRANCINE Top 10 Best new Restaurants in Phoenix in 2020 and highlighted : “the city’s best steak tartare and most addictive complimentary bread (fougasse) as well as light, pretty plates for figure-watching femmes.”

Halasz, who was raised in the South of France amidst the bounty of simple and soulful cuisine draws inspiration from his birthplace. FRANCINE is a spirited and loving homage to days spent in the sun and amongst gatherings around beautiful meals hosted by his mother Francine Halasz. Everything on my mother’s table was fresh, seasonal, and full of flavor, and that is exactly what FRANCINE offers our guests.
